If you're really determined to make the change though, all you can really do is kick everyone out of the existing club, delete it, and then create a new club and invite all of your friends back.

From within the club membership interface, select the player you'd rather was in charge, then select the option "Transfer Ownership". Click the confirm button and they'll be in charge of running the show from that moment on.
